Easiest question - CZ75
hands down

I've had both and the CZ is better - smaller, lighter, better capacity, better ergonomics, much more accurate and reliable. You'll get a significantly better and more accurate and reliable handgun in a smaller more ergonomic package with (I believe) 2 additional shot capacity standard.

The 92fs was my first pistol. Inaccurate and unreliable. Junk IMO. I've carried it in Iraq. Too big, clunky and heavy for the capacity and caliber. Sure the 92 will have some more holster choices, but that's certainly no reason to buy a gun.

My first 9mm was a CZ 75B that I bought on a whim one day at the gun store. What an awesome pistol! Very accurate and reliable. I now own 4 9mm's and it's still my favorite.

I own both, they shoot similar bu the DA/SA trigger is much better on the Beretta 92FS than the CZ 75b. Fit and finish on the Beretta is heads and shoulders above the CZ, like comparing Italian loafers to eastern block shoes. I love my CZ but at $510 it is about $110 too much for what you get IMHO.

IMHO you could not go wrong with either of your choices. I must admit I prefer the Beretta 92 (older ITALIAN made 92 guns like the 92, the 92S and SB) more than the US manufacture guns. I find the finish finer and the operation smoother. And I buy used guns much more often than new guns. Beretta mags - real ones that is and not aftermarket trash - will always be cheaper than real original CZ-75 mags. But the reality is you could not go wrong with either gun....or the Taurus 92 clone.

CZ. Those Berettas are HUGE. I know you want a full size, but man, don't get carried away! :D The CZ was a cult gun, a lust for pistoleros in the 70s/80s. I guess that might be swaying me. Jeff Cooper liked that it could be carried condition one. They were hard to get due to the iron curtain. Tangfolio and others made knock offs, but everyone lusted after the real thing. The frame design, the slide riding inside the frame rails, was lauded as a design feature. They were ground breaking guns.

the Beretta? To me, a big yawn. Yeah, I know, the military and all that.

It's down to two - help me choose - UPDATE, WINNER IS...

The CZ-75B! Put it on layaway today, hopefully making noise with it within a week or two. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR REPLIES, COMMENTS & SUGGESTIONS. THEY WERE ALL GREATLY APPRECIATED!
