Wow, we have some serious polarization going on here. OP is earnest in his vent, this is a place to vent isn't it.

I suffer from gun envy from time to time, but that evaporates when my old stock 1911 puts em in the ten ring. That is all that really counts. The ten ring. Make, model, modification, mean nothing. Ten Ring means everything.

What means even more is helping someone else shoot better.
