I thought Viridian Weapon Technologies (OEM manufacturer of USA made weapons light and laser like for Ruger) had discontinued their flagship Serac scope but just noticed it's still available for $169 with free shipping - https://www.amazon.com/Viridian-Ser...0856Z2T5F/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

Here's my archived original review thread of Serac - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...-focus-sfp-long-range-reticle-for-150.900740/

I have been testing the Serac on 10/22 for 22LR now going on 10,000+ rounds of 47 brands/weights/lots at 50/100 yards - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...nition-comparison.908102/page-2#post-12812234

I have Burris FF E1 6.5-20x50mm, Vortex Crossfire II 6-24x50mm, Vortex Strike Eagle 4-24x50, Athlon Argos Gen2 10-40x56mm and got to compare Serac and Crossfire II to Arken EP-5 5-25x56mm at 100 yards under dark shade of 150' trees into darkness of late afternoon. Serac provided clear image to edge and 22LR holes were readily visible. Side parallax from 50 to 100 yards was precise. Turrets were not as solid "click" of Arken but on par with Strike Eagle/Argos Gen2. (BTW, turrets are 1/8 MOA like Argos Gen2 instead of 1/4 MOA) Crossfire II provided very slightly brighter field of view in low light but if you are using scope under any sunlight, difference is minimal.
