It was originally between the Glock 26 and 27 and I think I have decided on the 27. I will be purchasing this Thursday....Any last thoughts or opinions on the 2?

They are excellent pistols. I prefer the 9mm G26 for many reasons but being cheaper to feed makes it look better everyday..:)

I shoot and carry 27 a lot. If they still come with that stepped trigger (as opposed to the flat ones) the 27 will numb your trigger finger after about 20 rounds shooting. This is more so using full-power 180grainers. Also, definitely need mag extensions.

You have chosen wisely:), but you really would not have gone wrong with either. I'm well pleased with my 27 and carry it daily. I shoot it quite a bit and as I don't reload at this time; I carry a conversion barrel and a couple of G26 magazines in my range bag to help defray costs for extended sessions. The .22 upper is just a fun change of pace. I do find it helpful for practicing trigger control; kind of a live dry firing exercise;).

BTW, I did swap out the triggers and have a smooth one installed as I prefer the feel of it.

I’m sure they still do. The sub-compact Glocks have that type of trigger so they will have enough import points to be legally imported.
