I'm either a minimalist or I prefer commonality in my ammo supplies. I think I own guns in a grand total of 9 different chamberings, and don't foresee me getting any more. I wouldn't turn down a gun in a chambering I don't have, but I can't see myself looking for one, either.
I only stock 7 calibers: .22, .223, .308, .40, 9mm, 12 guage, and 30-30. I prefer to keep a healthy stock of each round. Caliber is always a major consideration before I buy a firearm. I tend to go with mainstream calibers as I figure if the S ever does really HTF, I wanna have calibers that are easier to obtain.
