Calibers

We have all seen the threads asking about how many guns, etc.. I was going through the stockpile yesterday to see what I needed to add to, and was suprised to realize how many different calibers I had once I added them up.

So who among us can say they have the largest variety of calibers.
I am at 17HMR, 22LR, 22Mag, 380, 9mm, 38 Special, 357Mag, 38 Super, 357Sig, 40 S&W, 10mm, 41Mag, 44Mag, 45ACP, 45Gap, 45LC, 454Casull, 480Ruger, 50AE, 223/5.56, 7.62x39, 7.62x51, 7.62x54R, 30-06, .410Gauge, 20Gauge, and 12Gauge. So far I'm up to 27 calibers....

I see some duplicates there...for example:
.380acp and 9mm (assuming you mean 9x19) are the same "caliber".
.38 Special and .357 magnum are the same "caliber".
......etc, etc, etc ....

Mines not nearly that impressive.

Only .22lr, .380 ACP, 9x19mm, .22-250 Rem, 7mm-08 Rem, 30-30 Win, 7.62x54R, .410, and 12 gauge.

I'm working on getting a .357 mag, though.

Yeah, guys saying calibers when they mean cartridges/chamberings happens all the time here.

Nothing personal against anyone, but people love correcting people and trying to sound smart. I'm pretty sure that most people knew what they were talking about. Just like a .45 is really .451.. and 38, 357, etc...

Variety is the spice of life! Hey, if SHTF and I find ammo, theres a pretty good chance I can use it!
