I just bought a Glock 19 for a ccw and do not have a holster for it yet. My plan is to carry it inside the waist band and was wondering what the best holster would be. I have never bought a holster to carry with so I am not familiar with brand names or anything of the sort. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Milt Sparks is the best, but he has a 8 month backlog...also look at DM Bullard in Texas...great work and only takes 8 weeks.

Google either one and you will see their work...all custom

+1 supertuck

iwb, all day comfort, durable, great customer service, lifetime warranty, adjustable ride depth, adjustable cant, stays in place in your pants, just the right ammout of retention, and they arent even all that expensive! (~$70...not all that bad when compared to several other holster makers)

what more could you need?

ps: when i ordered mine it arrived at my door in about a week and a half!

i carried a Milt Sparks, for a while (my Glock 23), never really got used to it. you can see an IWB i made for a Glock 17, on my site (check my sig). it's a left handed holster, but kydex IWB is never really comfy.

my honest opinion - get a clip draw. i actually make holsters and when my friend (who has a Glock) asked how much i'd charge him for a holster, i told him not to buy one from me, to go get a clip draw instead. a lot of people will probably chime in and say how dangerous this is, but i carried a Glock (with a 3.5# connector) for years and have been a Glock armorer, for years and i disagree.

My Comp Tac goes everywhere with me. Spartan or MTAC, your choice.
Get a good gun belt, it does make a difference.
Then carry, carry, carry.
