I've been carrying my reload and surefire in my back pocket. It usually works out pretty well, except for the times I'm sitting for a few minutes, and notice that my butt is burning, because the light is on.

I'm looking for an IWB mag pouch with a light holder (one magazine, one surefire type light, possibly tuckable) While I don't really feel the need to conceal my light, typical light carriers seem to be a dead giveaway that all is not as it seems.

I typically wear sweatshirts or t-shirts, that fall slightly below my belt line, so the carrier must be IWB.

So...what do you all think is the best gear for this application?

TIA

Raven Concealment makes a magazine/light carrier.

I'm not sure you can wear this IWB, though they do offer quite a large variety of attachment systems. I have one of their Phantom holsters with the tuckable overhooks that works well. They are one of the most versatile systems on the market.

The other thing to remember is that since mags and lights are so short, even an OWB carrier will probably be mostly above the bottom of your belt. Additionally, the quick flash of a kydex holder will most likely look like a cell phone on your belt.

Why, a decent cell phone case or pocket knife / multi-tool case, or a mag case that doesn't stand out as tacticool really won't draw a second look.

It wouldn't seem out of place to me. I used to see all kinds of Mini Mag carriers around here. Must people wouldn't see it as a tactical light unless they are into them also. I know what they are & still wouldn't think gun. Actually I would probably think they paid all that money for a light & now they can't afford a gun.
