I was wondering if anyone made a pocket holster style mag pouch?

Main reason I don't carry with a second magazine most of the time is because I already have a Steyr S40 stuck in my pants ... there's not much room for an IWB magazine pouch.

I tend to toss my extra mag into my front left pants pocket, but a mag floating around with all the lint and such just doesn't seem like a good idea ... plus the mag tends to get turned sideways (and in a couple of pants that will cause the mag to get stuck in the bottom of the pocket). Also I keep finding myself with hand in pocket playing with the magazine (goofy nervous habit ... I do the same thing with my keys).

I'm thinking a pocket holster type mag carrier would be a solution to a problem that I'm sure I'm not the only one who has.

Zundfolge,

I’ve made quite a few before where there’s a “rocker†of sorts that helps keep the mag in a centered, upright position in the pocket. You can see a pic of them at this link:

And I can do any variation to it that you may want.

They are very common. I make them double for smaller guns...like Maks, 380's and 32's. Even a version with a mag light molded with a mag slot....
Heres a rough out natural version.........Shoot well.

Yeah they are really handy. I use one to carry a spare mag for my Smith. I used the basic design that Azrael makes, just made it bigger to fit my double stack mag. I would have ordered one from him, but he has his niche in the smaller stuff.

Go ahead and order one from one of the Pros here on THR. You won't be disappointed.
