I know he was controversial to alot of people but he was instrumental in how I trained and practiced and got alot of "tactical" knowledge about. I watched him for over 10 years when the only guns I had were a single shot 12ga, a .243 Winchester 70 and Ruger Blackhawk. I hope he went to the other side and finds rest.

Found him very entertaining and wish I'd watched much earlier. RIP James.

He was a noble warrior. Found him a bit opinionated on some stuff, some of his training techniques were a bit, questionable. But at the end of the day he was a worthy instructor and a good person; he had been through alot. We may have lost a valuable voice but his legacy still lives on in his videos and people he taught.

It was said he had ALS. (Lou Gehrigs Disease) My grandfather died from it before I ever got a chance to know him and from what my dad told me about his time with the illness, I would not wish it upon anyone.

More recently he made some very interesting statements and opinions on the web. Talked of going to Ukraine to help with the fight against Russia. Weird stuff.

He will be missed. I wish his final dayts had been more peaceful.

poor guy, he stood strong and didn’t care much what people thought.

look after your health people, we have one body in this world, treat it well.

Sorry, couldn't stand the man. Airhead, didn't know firearms very well (despite claims by him), and he was a horrendous face of the gun rights industry. Anyone remember when he had his carry license revoked for threatening to execute a family? Yeah. Not the kind of person I would want speaking about firearms making the rest of us look bad.

I will say this about the man. He lived life on his own terms, and went out the same way. That's OK in my book.
He did push a lot of buttons for those who are easily set off, but it never bothered him.
In fact, I think seeing weakness in others is what bothered him more than anything.
I subscribed to his channel.
Sometimes I learned something, sometimes I was among those thinking he was a half bubble off plumb.
In any case, I thought he was entertaining to watch... and It's sad he's gone.
I know he did believe in the America that we did.

I just hope the people he trained will be ready to step up for what I fear may be coming around the bend here before too long...

If so, that will be his legacy.

Watch how he handled himself in a show called "One Man Army" and see if you still think the same way. A show made and hosted by someone who closely knew Yeager, and didn't like him either.

Watched less than handful of his videos. Didn't have an opinion on him as a person or gun enthusiast. RIP.
