I've owned several HK rifle clones in the past and always been very dissapointed. Just curious how the JLD PTR rifles are? I've seen a few for sale in the past few weeks at local shops and they feel pretty solid, but I know very little about them. All I've seen have been out of my price range but I'm thinking down the line I may consider adding one to my collection, provided they're worth it.

JLD makes excellent HK clones, I do not think I have ever heard of any real problem with them.

Since the Company has changed hands the prices have gone up substantially but the new offerings also feature the most modern upgrades to the basic rifle.
Navy type polymar trigger housings, railed ventilated forearms and the like.

These guns are the equal to the original German product with barrels that are in many ways even better than the original rifles and the prices are beginning to reflect that fact.

I agree. They are excellent rifles - buy with confidence. The one I had (and foolishly traded away for something I thought I wanted more) functioned flawlessly and was very accurate, even with surplus ammo.

They use thick barrels, which make a heavy rifle even heavier, but the build quality is excellent and they'll readily accept all the original HK parts. They're great shooters.

PTR-91

tell you what i love mine, fit and finish is excellent, the weapon is tight, not just in the looks department, open sights at 100 , i printed about 1.5 group, will be scoping it out soon.

if you find one under 1000, buy it, you wont be disappointed.

my 0.02 worth

Weps Out!!
