Double feed? Jam
Case stuck in the chamber? Jam.
Popped primer locking up the action? Jam.
Not according to the folks at Front Sight.

I get that is the common usage. Just telling you that some experts call it differently.

Not desirable for sure. But the speed and efficiency with which a malfunction can be cleared by a practiced operator is truly impressive.
