I was just out shooting a couple of 10mms today. It had been awhile as 750 rounds of 10mm made my hands sore. I need to get back shooting the 10mm's more.

10mm is the most under rate pistol out there. they should be far more popular than they are. they make a fantastic pistol for protection from toothy critters in the outdoors as well as the two legged kind

I tend to agree. I joined the 10 mm club last Christmas and have been kicking myself for not getting into it sooner! But I do reload so that is a plus.

Welcome to the club. Seems it's getting bigger all the time, albeit slowly. Personally, I have two 10s, the first, a Delta, going back to the late 80s. My second, a G29 became my woods gun for the Huron National Forest. Enjoy!

Yes I handload but I still have the blister scar on the web of my thumb to show where the witness ground into it. I should have stopped around 500 rounds and I would have had just a bad blister.

If you shoot 10mm, you pretty much have to handload is my attitude.

Well. I went to go shoot it for the first time today, but had something come up. I am fortunate enough to ride my Polaris Ranger out my backyard, hop on a road being built and end up on my deer club lease in less than 5 mins. Problem is, this road runs right through the middle of the lease. This has brought several "undesirables" that like to do drugs and deal drugs down at the end of this road being built. I had loaded up both my magazines and heard a truck start up down the end of the road. It was not in view but I could tell it was coming. I positioned myself between my Polaris Ranger and loaded up the Glock. The truck saw me and he floored it and almost spun himself in a ditch. Late 80's F150 blue in color. 2 WM with no shirts on. GA plates but couldn't read it due to the speed and dust. I notified police and our deer lease president. Got a text my future father in law showed up unexpectedly and said to hell with it and rode home. Ill try again tomorrow morning.

As a side note, my future father in law dropped off several boxes of glow ammo cold tracer stick ons for reloading in 9/40 that he had at work. That was a pleasant surprise.

The 10mm is a good cartridge. I have a gen4 Glock 20 and it's my first Glock 10mm, but I really dig the Gen4 grip and the 20 shoots very well.

I've got a few nice woods loads loaded up for it, one a 200gr WFNGC that averages about 1270 from the 4.6" G20 and a 180gr XTP that does about 1365 fps. Both are handloads using 800x and the brass looks okay from the stock barrel.

I've been a bit preoccupied with developing a good load for my gen4 G21 .45 Super, and it consists of a 250gr XTP at around 1,270 fps, it will shoot a 255gr WFNPB the same speed. 275gr hardcasts will do right around 1,200 fps and a 300gr LFNGC will average close to 1,150 fps. It's big power, but it needs a comp which is why I shoot it through a KKM 4 port barrel.
