Just picked it up today after ordering from CDNN. Nice piece.

Who carries this gun? How do you carry it (like what carry rig)? Extra mags? Did you switch from another platform? Are you one who considers this gun to be a premium weapon like some do (i.e. they compare it to a Sig p210 or something)?

I'd love to hear your thoughts/how you live with this gun.

I CCW one on occasion. I carry it OWB in a cheap Uncle Mike's holster. It works fine with an untucked shirt or jacket. Many use a Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 for IWB and love it.

Its a great pistol and it deserves the reptutation for accuracy and reliability that it has.

The P7 is a great carry gun because it is so compact and fast to action. I carried OWB in a KD Holster rig. I've since switched to another HK for carry, but the P7 ranks up there as a top CCW, no doubt.

I own one but have been searching for a decent holster so I can carry it, and I like the KD holster that usp9 has. Is it as comfortable as it looks? Looks well made and I may very well call after the weekend for my P7. Very nice indeed!

I know a man with one arm who carries one. He likes it very much, and has an unknown slide racker rear sight installed.

I CCW a P7M13. Not quite the same, but close enough.

Milt Sparks VM-II

I have one spare mag, which gives me 27 total rounds of Speer Gold Dots. I carry this almost exclusively. I will carry a Seecamp if I need something smaller.

If I were to buy another it would be the Laredo Defender, the same as my Eagle Defender except easier on/off with the belt snaps.

Yes the holster is comfortable, rides high and tight, with a easy draw. A good holster for a very good price, IMHO.

I just purchased mine earlier this week and ordered K&D Dakota defender IWB holster. My main carry piece now is Kahr MK40, but when I need something smaller, I carry Seecamp. I plan to carry P7 occasionally. I am also planning to get a second one in eiter A or B grade and refinish it here:

This way I'll have matching twins

I carry my P7 PSP in a versa max II. The Teflon-ed one is my standard carry gun. It works well, rides nice in the holster and is a good reliable carry gun.

As a 210 owner while I like my PSP, it is not a 210. Not even close.

will a p7m8 fit in these holsters? i'd imagine there wouldn't be a difference but thought i'd ask

The p7m8 takes a different holster due to the configuration of the trigger guard. m8 holsters are a lot easier to come by than the original p7 because there are a lot more m8 molds out there to fit and form the leather .

In addition to the different trigger guard, the M8 holster must take into account the mag release levers.

I've been watching this thread for days and am surprised that nobody's suggested going over to Park Cities Tactical's Cult of the P7 site and searching there...it's a subject I know has been discussed in the past.

Wasnt going to stick my oar in but as long as I'm already talking, clockwise from top left is: a Galco OWB, a Crossbreed IWB, Bladetech IWB and an AJ Concealco IWB and mag pouches (all except the Bladetech were made for M8s if I'm not mistaken but fit close enough) that mostly work for me. I'm not nearly so impressed with the Bladetech as the others; it fits the pistol quite well but only has one loop mounted towards the rear of the holster that just isn't enough to keep it from pivoting up on the belt while moving, no matter how tight the belt's cinched.

I'm REALLY waiting for the transfer on my M13 to finish up and we'll see if there's any chance at all of it fitting into anything I've already got...

The M13 is identical to the m8 as far as holster fit is concerned . Its just even more butt heavy due to the double stack mag .

I finally tested mine over the weekend. Put about 120 flawless rounds through it. The gun did get rather hot and we would take turns firing CZ75 adn a S&W 357 revolver while it was cooling.

The safety squeezer took a little getting used to, but I got better with practice. Trigger was sensitive and it was easy to double-tap, on occasion even unintentionally. Our targets were just cans, so no specifics about the accuracy, but CZ75 is superior by far in that aspect. Recoil on P7 was rather snappy for the 9 and my target re-acquisition was not as fast as with CZ.

All-in-all, I was impressed with my purchase. Reliability was flawless and I already have a K&D holster for it on order. This might become might occasional ccw in rotation with my Karh and Seecamp.

redneck, would you verify that? You said a holster for a p7m13 would also work with p7psp?

No, he said holsters for the P7M13 and P7M8 are generally identical. A P7PSP is a different fit due to the smaller trigger guard.

I hate this thread.

Curse you people.

I have no self control, you made me do it.

I just ordered mine from CDNN today.

:cuss:

And what's even worse, I had to get another mag to go with it. Holy crap are those things expensive.

grrrr......

:what:

I got it.

Ordered it on the 7th, received it on the 10th. Don't ever let anybody tell you that CDNN ain't fast.

And the pistol. Oh my, the pistol.

I got the premium, excellent to like new version.

Like new indeed! If this puppy has ever been issued to anybody, carried even once in a holster or fired other than the factory test fire - I'll eat my freaking shorts.

I know used guns, and I know new guns. This one has been in the box since the day it was born. I can't believe how nice it is. What a deal!

I'm still miffed at this thread for making me do it.

If I could justify it, I'd do it again. One for a shooter, one for a safe queen.

As it is, I'll settle for the shooter. Now I have to go out this weekend and put it through its paces.

If anybody cares, I'll post photos of it. But you already know what it looks like. Just picture a P7 PSP sitting brand new on a shelf at your local gun store, and there you have it.

If you've ever had the itch for one, do it now and get it from CDNN - you won't be sorry.

The meef has spoken.

:D

Well..... here's what $752 gets you at CDNN....

It's going to the range today and we'll see if it lives up to the hype.

:D

Okay.......

I went to the range and shot it yesterday.

Oh yeah.... :D

For those who've never fired one of these puppies - you just don't know what you're missing. I realize there's no one-size-fits-all firearm of any kind, but I just can't imagine someone not liking one of these. Wish I'd bought one years ago! It now becomes my general all-purpose carry gun - except for in big coat weather where the SIG P220R Carry Elite DAO has the edge.

Only problem I could find with it was..... my wife.

She shot and and said, "Ooooh, I like this one. I want it!"

:uhoh:

"Uh, dammit Honey, I saw it first. You can have the 442."

"Nope", she says, "I want this one.."

::grumblegrumble...::

I hope I don't have to tell CDNN to send another one. Cheaper than a divorce, I suppose.
