sm,
In rereading some of the posts, I spotted this from you:
Where I am going is - this class adaptive to sight shooting? Meaning the sights get busted off, one has blood, mud, sand in dominate eye, perhaps strong hand / side hit, and having to defend weak handed. Perhaps downed man drills and use in having shoot from awkward postitions.
The QK skills people learned this weekend can be applied to all the above situations. QK is "a way" of shooting, not in the least restrictive to some stance, handhold, or positioning of the body.
In fact, the students were shown and are now able to shoot behind their back without turning around, from on their back upside down and backwwards, continuing to shoot while stumbling to one knee and back up, while fast walking right into the threat while hiding behind their bullets, sprinting out and away from the kill zone and firing at the same time to deliver anywhere from 4-5 bullets into COM before they get two steps into that, and a host of other technqiues, all using QK with a pistol and never looking at the gun.
Hope that answers those questions for you. Feel free to ask for more clarification if they are still unanswered in some way.
