Very, very thought provoking and entertaining. I cannot recall the number of times I laughed outloud when I realized the character relationships or plot line twists.

Surely, I must read it again to pick up some of the small details, but it will definitely be an enjoyable journey.

If you're part of the gun culture, you owe it to yourself to read this.

Once I got past the 700 page introduction, I thought the book was pretty good.

Don't leave out Enemies Foreign & Domestic either...I just finished that one and really enjoyed it since most of it takes place in Virginia.

Unintended Consequences is still in shrink wrap on the desk but it's next!

Enemies Foreign & Domestic

I'll add it to my ever growing list....

What others are recommended?

My current pile of things to read include:
Hatcher's Notebook (halfway through)
Handbook for Shooters and Reloaders, Vol. II
A few Capstick safari tales
Handloading for Competition (I hate it but I'm slowly reading it..)
Shooting from Within
The Hunter's Guide to Accurate Shooting

I think that's it...... :what:

the first 700 pages or so were a real trip down memory lane- particularly if you remember the old gun magazine lore of the 50s and 60s. The stuff they did to the anti-gun politicians in the last section was much fun.
