I have just put a carbine length, fixed stock dsa fal on layaway and will pick it up end of the month, I have read a lot about them but what should I expect from this beauty of a rifle, from those who have been end users, outside of high ammo cost?
You will be very pleased. They are very nicely put together rifles. I have the G1 Collectors Edition and it's a beautiful rifle.
Ammo yes is rough going lately. The Lithuanian surplus, if you can find it, is one of the best buys these days. It's NATO spec ammo in a reloadable case.
Like all the other ammo though the price is through the roof.

The one I put on layaway is being sold as brand new, is there a DSA Case?
The case that was with it was the standard walmart 10.00 rifle case but what type of case came with you alls rifles, how many mags and what else came with it and what type of accessories are suggested , not required , probably just get a vertical grip and maybe a rail i think its called a x duty rail mount, and maybe some type of red dot optics
