Justifying reloading -- 7.5x55

GP11 is Berdan primed. To me it's not worth trying to reload. That brass goes in my recycle box.
It's too much work and Berdan primers are hard to get. PVRI sells decent brass for the K31 and it uses Boxer primers.

Buying in bulk can get you down to $0.4405 per round with components currently in stock at grafs (brass is out of stock, but they always get more in) and powder valley, INCLUDING shipping, using the components you suggest (substituting Wolf primers...better and cheaper).

That's with expensive match bullets.

If you are looking for plinkers, drop 10 cents off that price. If you're willing to scrounge lead, cast bullets, and shoot reduced loads (1600fps or so), you can drop that down to about $0.15 or so per shot.

For reloadable brass match ammo, expect to pay $1.50-$2 per round for factory. Reloading IS a bargain if you plan to shoot a lot, and you get the versatility of being able to load plinkers for cheap practice, and still have match for competition, not to mention custom hunting loads if that is your thing.
