I would like to hear your experience with any of the Kahr 45 models.

Kahr

Most folks love the thin, light .45acp Kahrs. I found the two I owned to be harsher in recoil than my aging joints enjoyed. Using +P ammo made my grip break, so I just decided to stay with the 9mm Kahrs. Great gun if you have a strong grip. Accurate, easy to conceal, well made gun otherwise. I had a P45 and TP45.

I have a PM45, and like it a lot. I usually carry it in the summer when it's hot as Hades IWB, or in a cargo short side pocket. Since this picture was taken I've added a bit of bicycle tire inner tube to the grip, and ground down and contoured the slide stop.

I carry a PM45 in my front pocket nearly everyday. I love it.
The recoil is not that bad considering its a 20oz 45. It has pretty good muzzle jump though. Which makes follow up shots a little slower, I had mine Manga-Ported which didn't really affect recoil much but the flip seems a good bit better.

Mine did jam once in the break in period, round #39. After that it was fine for the next 1500+ rounds, at which point I had some custom work done and had a couple minor issues. KAHR has since redesigned the entire PM series so I can't really speak for the newer ones.

I have a CW45. I had a few issues with it early on, but was able to work through them without a trip back to Kahr. I'm sure Kahr would have made it right, but the pistol is so accurate for me that I didn't want to chance having parts swapped out that might have affected that. Anyway, as mentioned above it's an "Accurate, easy to conceal, well made gun.." I'd add lightweight to that. Having proven to me that it's reliable, I carry it quite a bit, though I occasionally change to the CW9. It's my favorite Kahr (also have a CW9 and, until recently, a K9) and favorite non-1911 .45ACP pistol.

I have a P45 that I use for every day carry.
I reduced the grip length to that of the PM45.
So I have longer P45 slide and shorter PM45 grip.
I use both the PM and P mags.
Gun has been flawless.
Does not recoil any more tham my Springfield aluminum receiver compact 45.
Great for CCW.
Fun to practice/drill with.
Also own a PM9 - had it before purchase of P45.
Very happy with Kahr

i have the cw45 limited experiance i havent had it long and the round count is under 100. so far the only thing i dont like is that its ammo picky with hollowpoints. i tried some some cheap reloads i got at the lgs and got ftb just didnt chamber fully so the slide didnt quite go foreward. they worked fine in an xdm. then i tossed in some hornady zombies and had the same problem. yesterday i got some rem hd ultimate home defense witch seems to be a golden saber thats not +p cycled a couple in it last night and things look good ill update when i get to shoot them hopefully later today.

I fired my Kahr CW45 today for the first time. I cleaned it yesterday, and shot 100 rounds of Winchester ball ammo. A pleasure to fire, extremely accurate. She looks Plain Jane but becomes very sexy upon firing. Very well concealed for carry.
Today for the first time out not one stove pipe, not one failure to feed; the first round and last were equal. Truly a pleasure to fire this weapon.

i carry a Kahr PM 45 everyday, very accurate, very comfortable to carry IWB, also very reliable. probably the smallest semi auto available other than the Kahrs in 9mm or .380

I started with a Kahr PM9, which I carried every day (and practiced with at the range once or twice per month) for 3 1/2 years.
Then I moved to a Kahr P45, which I carried every day (and practiced with twice per month) for a year and a half.

I bought a PM45, which was I never caried, but took to the range several times. It was a bit more selective about JHP ammo, and I ended up selling it to a friend, who tested it and found that his preferred carry ammo worked well. He has been carrying it ever since.

These days, I am carrying a 1911, but neither my PM9 or my P45 are going anywhere. They are both very good pistols, and the time will come when I will carry each again.

I have a P45 and carry it regularly. Excellent, rock solid, and reliable firearm. I really can't say enough good things about it... It's about as close to perfect as a carry gun can be. It's very light and easy to tote around (I don't notice it IWB). The gun is incredibly accurate compared to anything... the gun is capable of one big ragged hole for a grouping at 7yrds. The trigger is long, smooth, and safe. I've grown to really, really love the trigger. There are no extraneous levers, safeties, or other catches which makes the gun simple to operate in complicated situations. The combat sights are strong and make it possible to rack the gun with one hand on anything with a firm edge (like jean pockets). I normally carry the gun IWB but it can fit comfortably in the front pocket of some of my cargo shorts; which is actually a pretty nice spot to carry.

I love the gun so much I decided to buy another Kahr, the PM9 for times when I need/want something a bit smaller.

I liked my PM45 very much, I traded it for a G19 to use cheaper ammo when teaching new shooters.

The only think I didn't like was the last round in the mag ejected straight back into my forehead.
