Hi all -
I have a glock 19 that is too big for EDC for me, especially when it gets warmer out. I want something that I can pocket carry, but that will most often go iwb in a small leather/kydex holster. These requirements keep me from getting a glock 26, because I know it will end up being too big for decent pocket carry when I 'need' to pocket carry. I want to be able to take my shirt off in the summer without then open carrying. That leaves me with few other options, I don't want a .380, I would like 9mm or even .38 if I went the revolver route, which is still a possibility for me. I'd go airweight or LCR if I was to get a revolver. They just seem as fat as a glock, and I worry it won't completely disappear like I want it to.
That leaves me to a PM9 or a CM9, because I don't want a keltec gun. What are your thoughts on these firearms? I think it would be a CM9, as long as I could get night sights on it. I can't find one in town to look at, I saw a CM45 today that was pretty sweet, however. That gives me an idea for trigger pull, etc. I want night sights, so I would buy the trijicons from Kahr - then how do I get them installed? I know the front is easy, but I would want both front and rear. I've read that 'nobody' will put them on for me... so can I send the slide to the factory and have them install night sights or what?? Should I consider a revolver? Lastly, are there any options I am overlooking? No PPS, no LC9, too big.
Thanks in advance for the input, any and all -
