Slim, compact, single stack 9mm in stainless steel. High quality.

Great little guns, I love mine and carry it often.

Mine has been 100% reliable through about 1500 rds now, all types to include my handloads. I've rarely heard of problems with Kahr "K" series guns.

Very well. The grip is just large enough to get your pinky on. The weight helps tame the recoil. Sights are easy to see. The DA trigger pull is good, only downside it has a loooong reset.

I've gotten 2.5" groups at 15 yards...I'm sure the gun is capable of that at 25 yds with the right load...just not me.

Nope, none needed.

I have an E9, a less finely finished "economy" version of the K9, now discontinued. It is a good shooter at short range and has been reliable, at least WRT feeding, firing and ejection; the slide lockback is iffy. I also like its sight picture, a dot/bar like those of SIGs. The only modifications I would like would be a less sharp-cornered slide stop and a rounded/polished trigger face. To lighten and smooth the trigger action would be "gilding the lily." One comment that frequently comes up about these Kahrs, from petite women and burly men alike, is how "right" they feel in the hand. I would carry it more often, but realistically it is not substantially easier to carry than a larger, higher capacity gun.

the trigger has a pin that wiggles its way down into the trigger guard every so often.

Just putting it out there. You probably can super glue it if you want though.

On a K series? I've heard of that happening on the polymer guns, not the steel ones.

My only complaints are that it's a bit heavy (might not matter to you) and that mine would not shoot reloads (completely seized the slide and frame, requiring hammering). The manual says not to shoot reloads, but in this case it wasn't for liability--it really couldn't digest them. With factory ammo it was reliable. Oh, also the slide stop protrudes obnoxiously.

I have the E9 going on 8 years and love it. Trigger took a little getting used to.
Nice, slim, reliable package.

I shoot jacketed reloads exclusively through mine with no problems.
