How many of ya'll actually carry one of these little pistol in your pocket.

holster or not?

Jeans or dress pants / slacks

does it feel bulky with or witout a pocket holster

I'm looking at a PM-9 but am having trouble finding anyone I know with any real world experience carrying one.

Thanks!!

Of the two people I know who carry the PM-9 in a pocket, BOTH quickly started using a pocket holster.

Both tell me that the gun quickly shifts until the gun is sitting in the pocket upside-down.

A pocket holster prevents the gun from shifting, and gives a quicker draw.

Both are fairly big men, so the weight in the pocket isn't as much a problem.

However, even the PM is heavy enough that pants droop, and the pocket looks unnatural from the weight and form of the gun and holster.

Jeans are too usually too tight for a fast draw, and slacks are so loose, the gun "flops" the pocket around, banging it into the thigh.

I carry mine with a pocket holster in my front pocket of my Levi's

I carry it in the winter in a inside coat pocket.

It carries fine, I think the PM9 is the best "pocket" gun out there right now.

I carry mine in the front pocket of carpenter jeans with an Uncle Mikes Size 2.
This is a holster made for .32 pocket guns, but fits over the Kahr well and covers the trigger. If you wear tighter jeans, I think you're probably going to print without a holster that disguises the grip.
The PM-9 is still just a tad bulky for pocket carry for me, since I'm not crazy over the "bulging pockets look" :D, but is still OK until I find a suitable IWB holster.

I find that the fully loaded PM9 is a little too heavy (~18.7 ounces) to carry in my pocket, but I'm not a big guy.

I usually carry mine in a soft Mil-Tech IWB holster.

For pocket carry, I use my Kel-Tec P3AT (10 ounces loaded) or S&W 337PD (~13.2 ounces loaded).

I carry my PM9 in an Alessi Talon IWB with Clip holster. Excellent. Have on order a Milt Sparks 55BN OWB that fits close and rides high. I tried a pocket holster for the PM9 but I didn't like the bulk in my pocket.

I carry my PM9 almost always. If it's the front pocket of my jeans or jean shorts it's in an Uncle Mike's #3 pocket holster. If it's IWB it's in a Threat Solutions UCR. If I want deep concealment it's in a Smartcarry.

I carry my PM9 in a Comp-Tac Shirt Tucker holster. I find the PM9 hard to comfortably conceal in a front pants pocket.

I carry my PM9 in a Uncle Mike's #3 pocket holster.

I'm of a slight build so a few things have to be in order, for it to work right.

1. The pants have to be snug enough in the waist. Otherwise, they tend to slip down, no matter how tightly I cinch the belt. Slacks with small elastic sections work well for this.
2. The belt has to have the holes in the right place. Not too tight, not too loose.
3. With most jeans, the bulge is not a problem. If the jeans are on the snug side, then you will look a little "lumpy". You will be more aware of this than most people. Most men do not look at other men below the waist. :scrutiny:
Pleated khakis or slacks work even better.
4. A leather holster creates less of a bulge than the Uncle Mike's. I just haven't gotten around to ordering one yet.
5. If #1 and #2 above are a good fit, then I quickly forget about the weight.
Otherwise I have to spend a lot of time pulling my pants up.

Hope that helps.

I carry my PM9 in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster (really nice and cheap: $15). Works great in jeans, khakis/slacks, tux pants and shorts... only really tight jeans are a trick, but I only have one pair like that.

I carry it everywhere but to work and it's a dream... really llight, I forget it's there. Several times I've had to walk back to the car from the entrance to work because I forget to leave it in the car.

DarthSkeeter,

Which Nemisis do you have? I ordered one for my PM9, and the gun fits, but the holster seems to be too big. It swallows up the gun and makes it hard to draw. It said it was for P9, PM9, G27, G26 etc...

Then I ordered what I thought would be the size in between what I ordered for my PM9 and my P3AT, the one that would fit the Tomcat. That one is too small.

Mine is their Part # N38BJE1Z0.. for the K9/40, MK9/40, GLock 26/27, Taurus PT111/140, and others.

I guess it 'swallows' my PM9... it covers all the way to the back of the slide but 2/3's of the grip is exposed and I can slip my hand inside the holster and over the grip and get my finger in the trigger guard (if I wanted to). Mainly I just hook my 2nd and 3rd (that's guitar.. uhh.. middle and ring fingers) on the grip and can yank it out pretty quick.

It's trickier in tighter pants of course, but in my standard jeans/shorts/slacks, it works fine.

I don't work on super fast draws with it, but I can get the gun out quick enough for any situation I can conceive of. I hope you can get it to work for you.
