I hate to tell you this but, you were right......

I just got back from the range and ran 150 through this one....

I first fired 50 rds of win white box FMJ.....zero problems.:)

Fired 50 rds of JHP....Hornady, Hydra Shock, some old JHP that didn't fire from my daughters gun, Silver Tips, I even mixed those all up in a couple of mags.......I think I heard her say, "that was goood, give me more":D Zero problems.

I then fired another box of Win white box from Wally World....zero problems.

I fired another mag of Silver Tips and smiled and pack it up.

Durning the firing I did double taps, triples and rapid fire, it didn't matter with this gun.

Needless to say....I am sold on this little bad boy:cool: I am so sold that I will be carrying the PM9 instead of my Rohrbaugh R9 for two reasons...the recoil is lighter and I can carry +P.

It's so nice to find one that shoots right outa the can and you just feel in control. As to accuracy....it's as accurate as I am.

Did I meantion that I am a happy camper?:D

So now you can bond with the gun...........Bond, James Bond.
Sorry, but the Black Rose Edition is calling for a tux.

Glad you like it. Mine was fussy for maybe 50 rounds, after that, bang!

Still waiting for the perty holster. Don't you dare put it in any ole holster!! Don't even think of it!!

That sure is a nice looking gun. Sounds like you got a great one out of the box, too. Ours had 3 FTF's in the first 150 rounds, then ran fine for the last 50. I'm looking forward to putting 200 or so more through it, hopefully next weekend. They really are pleasant to shoot for such small guns, aren't they?

I also second the call for a quality holster. Be sure to post pics. :)

PM9 and P380

I carry one of these in my pants pocket at all times. They are both easy to conceal, highly reliable, and extremely accurate for such small pistols. You will be also be pleased with your PM9 long term.

While I expected reliabilty I was very pleasantly surprised by the accuracy of my Kahr PM-9.

Mine was fussy for the first 50 rounds then fine for the next 150. That is mainly because the recoil spring was tighter than a bear trap when I got it. I wish the feed ramp didn't have such a steep angle, but it works. This gun has made me perfect my sling shot method of reloading, because if it isn't perfect it doesn't work.

It's my main CCW. It's a real pleasure to shoot and conceals very easily.

For those with "fussy" Kahrs, you need to read Jocko's break-in procedure on kahrtalk.com. Read the whole thread. I've added a couple pointers myself.

Duke, enjoy your Black Rose.

you also need to know Jacko probably works for Kahr.

I called him out on putting 5k rounds in 2 months on his 21k round PM9. yeah, right.

Haven't heard from him since on this forum.

Could be. All I know is I combined his tips with some of my own and my PM9 shot flawlessly from the first round. I hadn't yet found his tips when I got my CW40 and I had a couple fail-to-feed's in the first 50 rounds. No problems thereafter.
