I finally got my PM9094 to the range today. No gliches, no stoppages, no problems.

Fired from 7 yards as fast as I could get target acquisition and got 4 and 1/2 inch group with 50 rounds of FMJ Federal red box.

Winchester 115 gr. Silvertip gave me a 2 and 1/2 inch 5 shot group. Shot slower on this one.

I am happy with this little pistol.

David.

Congratulations on your purchase, David! The PM9 is a great little gun that is in a class by itself. IMHO there is no better gun for deep cover - pocket, ankle, Smartcarry, bellyband etc. Makes a great BUG too.

I recently picked one up to take the place of a MK40. The MK is a sweet little gun too but it is 9 ounces heavier, 9 ounces! Hard to believe that there is such a weight savings to be had in the same size gun but it sure makes a noticeable difference for pocket carry.

I don't know if you have settled on a defense round yet but I've had great success withthe reclassified Speer 124 grain +P Gold Dots. It's nothing scientific but I think that the added velocity is a plus for the 3" barrel. I started with a box then bought 1000 and recently bought 2000. They have been exceptionally reliable and you just can't beat the price.

I notice it has gone up in price a bit but it's still a bargain compared to the 20 round boxes of Gold Dots.
