I like Kart barrels as I have posted here before - however that being said - My SS01 has a Ed Brown Officers barrel ( required extensive fitting) and it shoots like a bullseye pistol which was something of a suprise. My different 1911s have several different barrels. Some are fitted bottom up and some top down. A couple "droped in" but shoot adaquately even though sloppy. The barell in my 1914 Colt critized on the net because I did not re crown it shoots 2 inches at 7 yards.
I vote for the Kart barrel "following directions" if possible on this application followed by a report. There many factors in accuracy not related to the barrel as has been posted before.
