I'm interested in buying a P-11, but I'd like to get an idea for its size, since I'll be using it as a concealed carry pistol. I can't seem to find any pictures of a P-11 next to some other full sized auto.

Does anyone have (or could you produce) some pictures of a P-11 next to some full size auto (1911, P99, Glock, USP, whatever). I got the P-11 measurements off of the Kel-Tec web site, but I think I could get a better idea of size seeing it next to something that I'm familiar with.

Thanks in advance,

venom600, you'll never get the idea without handling one in person. Then you'll have to shoot one to see if you're a candidate to own one. There are those who love them and those who hate them.

That photo doesn't capture what I think is the most important element in CCW - thickness. That's my problem with Glocks - they feel like bricks in my hand. My P11 feels pretty thin, but I think the Kahr is a bit thinner (.1", as I recall reading somewhere) and an ounce or two heavier. Of course, you can carry 12+1 rounds in your P11 (with a P40 magazine) because it is double-stack, where as the Kahr is 7+1.

Have a P11, a K9 and a Glock. The Kahr is the thinnest of the three, and if you get the smaller one (MK9?) it is even smaller than the K9. The only drawbacks compared to the P11 are less capacity AND cost. You could likely buy two P11s for the price of a K9 nowadays! The P11 and the Glock grips are similar thicknesses IMHO. If I could carry in NJ, I would carry my K9 over the P11.

Owned a Kahr PM-9. It was a great gun and only 1" thick. Very concealable. But the grip was so thin and the site radius too short. Considered a G26, but it was too thick, too long and too bulky for where I wanted to carry (in my pocket or smartcarry). The Kel-Tec P-11 was just right.

This one is jacked (nickel finish by Jack Fusilier) and has night sights. Pocket holster by Mika's Pocket Holsters, the best deal going in pocket holsters.
