hey guys, just wondering if these two guns worth 325 bux each ? the kel tec is brand new, the taurus is almost new. How much do u think i should be able to haggle it down to ? Thanks

those prices seem pretty reasonable.. if you can get a box or two of ammo thrown in... I'd take it.... assuming the taurus is the newest generation millenium...

brand new p-11 should be more like $280.

Don't know about the taurus.

I bought my p11 slightly used for $230, with pinky extensions, extra mag, and clip.

Things have gone up on Kel Tec since November. Hell, you can't even find P3ATs around here. P11s are out there, though scarce. I don't know what the mad hording is doing to prices, but I'm sure they ain't going down.

The Kel Tec is a little more concealable, but they're both good guns. They've both been around a while and have the bugs worked out. KT has superb customer service and Taurus has improved a lot in the last year in that respect, to the point that they'll now send you a shipping container so you don't have to pay for it. My P11 has run well through many thousands of rounds these last dozen years that I've carried and shot it. Never lets me down.

I had a P11 and sold it FOR a Taurus PT-111. I hated my keltec. It had a monster of a trigger pull, it barely fit in my hand which means it would almost fly out of my hand every shot and it would jam every 6 or 7 rounds.

My PT-111 is like trading a chevy cavalier for a lexus. Never had a problem, fits betters, blah blah blah. Better. HOWEVER, I have heard horror stories about Taurus customer service so I hope that I never have a problem (cause Taurus does have a lifetime warranty). I have heard great things about Kel-Tec customer service.

Hope that helps.

hadmanysons: how long ago did you buy the kel tec? Is it because it's the older generation ? just curious.

Thanks to all that reply

I'm thinking of going to the makarov/ CZ 82 route if i can find a good price on them.

The p11 is a nice little gun. I just got back from practicing with mine at the range. They are very concealable, especially with the belt clip. The trigger on these is hard and very long. IMHO this is not a gun you can shoot once a year and expect to be proficient. I've heard people say the recoil is heavy from these but I notice my trigger finger gets tired long before the rest of my hand notes any problems. If possible I would try someone Else's before committing to buying one. I wouldn't hesitate to get another one though. The pinkey extension is a very welcome addition if you have big hands like me.
