One of the things Kel-Tec has on their list of things to do -- and they've said they're working on it -- is a P-11 with the PF-9 trigger. You lose the "restrike" capability, but gain a much better shooting P-11, with a much higher capacity than the PF-9, and it's still ALMOST pocket-carry size. (Takes big pockets, though...<grin>)
I had a P-11, and could NEVER get used to the trigger. I shot other guns, too. I tried it in an IDPA match once, and just couldn't hit crap on my first scenario. After that it was fine -- it took a shot or two to RELEARN the trigger. I got to thinking that if I was going to keep shooting other guns, too, the P-11 wasn't a good carry gun for me. (It had been my carry gun until that point.)
I've not had that problem with PF-9; while not the best trigger, it is quite similar to how other triggers feel. A P-11 (with the wider grip and higher capacity) and the PF-9 trigger seems like a good hybrid, and I'll probably get one. (I had a Kahr P9, which I liked a lot, except for the 7 or 8 round capacity. But, someone literally made me an offer that I couldn't resist, and I sold it. I bought the PF-9 soon after. I prefer the P9 to the PF-9, but the PF-9 is more than good enough, and the PF-9 price is substantially less -- more bang for the $buck, so to speak.)
