I bought a P11 with my stimulus money yesterday and did a quick fluff and buff on it this morning. I hit the range with it this afternoon after work.
The recoil was not bad at all but I plan on getting the grip extension so I have a place to put my pinkey. I already put the belt clip on. It only took me a few minutes and a little blue loctite, seems to work fine.
I did a quick 100 rounds. The long trigger pull takes a little getting used to but didn't hinder my ability to hit what I was aiming at. The gun was not very accurate but is fine for it's purpose. The rear site started walking loose to the right after about 50 rounds, couldn't be pulled off though. I tightened it up with some super glue. I had one failure to eject and two failures to feed. Both of the failures to feed were when I had reloaded the mag and and used a slingshot to load the new rounds, not sure why. It wouldn't occur if I released the slide by pushing down on the slide stop. I can't always use that method though, too hard on my thumb. All in all the gun functioned as well as I'd hoped during its break in. When I got home I took it apart and found a bunch of crud from the parts wearing into each other, not particularly surprised. I thoroughly cleaned the gun and buffed some of the areas that were showing wear. I also polished up the chamber a bit. I plan to put another 100 rounds of ball through it to see if any further issues crop up. After that I'll run through 100 rounds of hollow points to see how they feed. If the pistol is working well at that point I'll be able to carry it with a certain amount of confidence.

I think you'll like your P11. I trust mine far more than my PF-9. I added a Hogue Handall Jr. grip and it is very comfortable to shoot. It was a little hard to get the grip on, but it was worth it.

If you continue to have feeding problems, look into another magazine. I bought an S&W 15 rounder and it doesn't feed reliably. I think it needs a stronger spring from Wolff.

I couldn't get mine to feed worth a hoot, either. I switched ammo and it would feed WWB and Wally World Remington JHPs. My hands are built to where the pistol digs into my thumb between my two thumb joints and hurts like heck when I shoot it. I got it for a small carry gun but after shooting it and having some issues I don't really trust it.

More and more I am liking revolvers just because they don't seem to be ammo sensitive. I think I am about to give up on plastic pistols. My XD9s are great but these tiny pocket pistols leave much to be desired. I'm canceling my LCP order Tuesday and am using that money to finish paying for my Colt Cobra and Ruger MK II.

I have a P11 and carry it regularly. It shoots accurately and functions well. I carry Hydashok 147 in it and it feeds them well. Shooting it frequently will straighten out most of the feed problems. It needs to be well oiled in order to function properly and MUST be cleaned well especially in the area of the slide. Using teflon spray like Tetra gun spray will smooth out a lot of the kinks in it.
