I don't know what Ted's smoking these days but he seems to have his head where the sun don't shine. he and so many others are all but clueless when it comes to knowing true facts regarding firearms and ammo.

Isn't it incredible too ... how one person ... supposedly serving THE PEOPLE can potentially do so much damage, seemingly all but unchallenged.

Didn't a batch of Chinese 7.62x39 get reclassified as AP by ATF about a decade or so ago? Something about ATF deciding their core was too hard.

I'm not going to retract my statement as it was obviously made in jest. I'm confident that if you do a search on my posts I think you will find that most (99%) of what I say is level headed and quite conservative. If the mods want to ban me from this board for that comment then so be it.

Frankly, I also think some of us need to really bone up on exactly some of the stuff that 'ole Ted has been doing and what his agenda is. Some may be offended by that comment, but I'll guarantee they are not as offended as I am when it comes to 'ole Ted.

The move against centerfired rifles was inevitable once the anti-types deemed a .50 BMG unacceptable. Beginning the harassment of centerfire rifles is the next logical step in social and quasi-legal banning of firearms. Up to now rifles have been kept relatively un-molested compared to handguns. Now the move is to perfom the same magic on rifles. Big problem is they will now begin the harassment of a new bloc of voters--hunters. Anti-types are either pretty sure of the outcome or they are grasping at straws.

I predict right how the means of harassment of hunters will be to limit centerfire cartridge performance. AP arguments are only the beginning.
