I did a search and could not find a discussion of Kimber's 1911 .22. Does anyone have one? How is it? Is it worth the money?

For a good plinker that has a full-size feel, would I be better served to spend less money and get a good Ruger Mark II/III or a Browning Buckmark?

I've got their conversion kit on a Procarry and am happy with it. It will not shoot as well as any of the better 22 handguns, but well enough for practice and plinking. I got it because it most closely duplicates a 1911. It's been reliable.

I have a Kimber Rimfire Super. It shoots good, doesn't like some brands or types of ammo (like most .22s). If I stay away from those it has been pretty reliable. They come with one 10 rd magazine but you can use the Ciener 15 rd mags if your state allows them.

I have a Ruger Mk II Stainless bull barrel and a Kimber 1911 .22. They are both fun to shoot. I bought the Kimber because I have a few 1911s. The Ruger is definitely a better shooter and a far better value.

I also have the conversion, and i love it. Been shooting cci minimags with no issues what so ever.
