1911 pattern .22lr.The Colt Ace I was never able to find... Has anyone got one, shot one, seen one?

Do you already have a 1911? If so, the Marvel is without a doubt the superior 22lr conversion.

If you want a whole new gun, I'd still look for a Colt. They can be found.

Never shot the Kimber.

If the Kimber is anything like their .22 rifles, it is an outstanding piece. In Kimber's early days, they damn near put Anshutz out of business with their high-quality .22 rifles.

If you are refering to the 22 conversion top end they are made by ciener. I had the ciener version for awhile I used with my kimber custom. It was reliable and accurate. I sold it because I shoot my browning buckmark more. Mark

This is a new pistol, they still offer the top end conversion kits. I was told around $600. The last Ace I saw was a couple of years ago, it was over $800, as I remember.
