I think I want to build a kit like this.
Anyone know if these type of kits are any good?

The "Dixie" brand is made by someone else. Suspected to be Palmetto

I would suspect from that article above that you should pay the extra for the Uberti. There is only the Walker kit listed for it so you may need a completed one.

It sounds as if Dixie is a good company in that article and I've heard nothing bad about them.

I registered with a gunsmith site that someone posted elsewhere on these boards and I'm trying to get the money set aside to get into this...
