A while ago I had ordered a KP31 Semi-auto Suomi from Centerfire systems.
Took it to the range a few times but the this had 2 major drawbacks:

1) It was heavy as balls!
2) The trigger pull weighed as much as the rifle.

Since I couldn't do anything about #1, I was playing around in the safe and was seeing if I could improve the trigger in anyway. This was everything from replacing the trigger pack with AR/870 parts, re-polishing the surfaces (already did that) to selling the thing.

While I was examining the trigger group I saw the limiting pin that keeps the transfer bar pushed down to a certain extent. If I could increase the diameter of this pin, it would push the transfer bar down further, and reduce the trigger pull!

A few things were tried, and then I wrapped a paper-clip around the pin as it was inserted. and here is the result:

This reduced the trigger pull weight to about 4 or 5 lbs. Something VERY manageable compared to the 20 or so pounds that it was.

Not many people have this type of rifle, but for those that do, you feel my pain!
