KSG on gunbroker

Must be a pre-order, I don't think they are out yet. I guess some folks will pay double what they cost just to be one of the first.

if you go to google shopping a bunch of stores come up as having them, i figured they must be pre orders also

How exciting! I'm rather surprised to see one available so soon.

There's 11 days left. How high will it go?

Who thinks it will break $2000? Or more?

Perhaps it was intended to be a "test" gun that someone decided to sell instead of keeping?
( I don't see anything that says its NIB but i could have always misread something....)

HOLY COW!! I'd rather buy a Saiga 12ga for $650 and have several removable mags. Plus, if one converts it for 922R compliant then most states allow hi-cap mags.

The neat thing about two 7 (or 6 as I hear it will work with 3" shells too) round magazines that require a switch over from one to the other is that it is two magazines under 10 rounds. California compliant (where magazines must hold 10 rounds or less.)

Plus as a pump it is not subject to any "assault weapon" legislation. Which would otherwise prohibit pistol grips on a shotgun. (And does prohibit detachable magazines.)

As a shotgun it can be 26", while all semi-auto rifles have to be 30" minimum or they are "assault weapons".

It really looks like a good firearm for California.

Did anyone see what happened to this gun? Last I saw, the bidding was up to around $1,625 and had like 2 days to go. Now it won't show up, even when I login to GB and search completed auctions.

patience is a virtue

Ill wait till they are available and get one for the under MSRP price thanks

Yeah I just got Kel tec's catalog in the mail, expected MSRP on the KSG is $880. So whoever's bidding on this will NEVER get their money back out of this shotgun, unlike when you buy most guns.

wow just WOW...

I want one but not bad enough to pay real good rifle money for it

its at the price point I could get a very nice GAP rifle

Wow someone just paid $4,025 for a $880 MSRP shotgun. I guess the "GottaHaveItFirst" spirit is still alive and well.
I could see paying up to $600 or so for one of those someday but I sure don't want one THAT bad. That's transferrable full auto or 50 bmg territory.

Really would like to see real pictures on this. I noted it's a non rated bidder that bought it. Not saying it's a scam but I wondering if it could be a publicity stunt or maybe a couple of of joker bidders just raising the price and have no intention of going through with the bid process. Just like see some real pics of the actual guns.

Thye serial number of ... ...

"ØØØØØ1" might be worth it to some ppl.

'"... whoever's bidding on this will NEVER get their money back out of this shotgun, unlike when you buy most guns."

the max I would pay for "gotta have it first" is maybe $50 over MSRP but thats me being ridiculous
to pay 3200 over MSRP is somebodys complete stupidity

According to Google Shopping results there are plenty of online stores that have the KSG listed for under $700, no stores have them in stock but they are listed.

To pay $4k for one of these just because you have to be the first kid on the block to have one is just plain sad.

You must not get out much.....4K in the "transferrable range"? Maybe for a Mac; Thompson's are going a little higher.
Quality target shotguns are getting to that price as the starting point
Custom rifles? Easily in that ball park

IF this was a legit auction, then good for the person who has the discretionary income. Take any major brand and any major type of firearm - having serial number 1 will typically go up in value over time - whether that was the intent of thr buyer is moot - he/she now owns it
