Larue hit it out of the park with their new triggers!

It's just a lil retainer clip thingy that is easy to install and they give you an extra in case you lose it during the install. I can't see any problem with it.
Ah, reminiscent of the old Armalite target trigger then

I've got JPs, Rock River NM 2 stage, Geissele G2S and Larue MBTs and the MBT is definitely the best buy if not the best outright.

I just got in the POF 2 stage trigger, this one:

I am not real experienced with non-component self contained triggers, having briefly owned and sold a CMC years ago, but this trigger seems really nice. In fact the whole lower went together well and feels high quality. Lower is Spikes Spartan, CMMG premium parts kit, BCM 7075 buffer tube, Sprinco blue spring, Kaw Valley tungsten 4.3 buffer, CTR stock. This will probably go on my 18" Bison 6.8 upper and make a great hunting rig.

Hmmm, I guess I'll have to pick up a Larue trigger to see what all the fuss is about. I have 4 Geissele triggers of various types, which are nice, but I've found the ALG ACT trigger with JP enhanced reliability springs is a phenomenal trigger, to the point that I don't know if I'll ever buy another Geissele, except maybe another DMR for a long range precision rifle. I now have 4 of the ALG triggers as well. Since the ALG is basically a more polished version of the QMS trigger, reliability for a SD gun shouldn't be an issue, and for $70 it's a no brainer.

Can anybody compare the Larue to the ACT with JP springs?

I have a Larue MBT2 in my Aero Precision M5. I would say it’s 90% as good as a Geissele SSA-E for about a third the price.

I’ll agree with others here that I wish it had a standard trigger face vs the wide squared-off face.

I can never find one in stock...

I have JP single stage triggers in two AR's, one is the original that I had to stone/file/and fit to the safety and the other is their EZ trigger with the adjustment screw. Both are fantastic single stage triggers. Trigger alone is only $99, $199 for the trigger, hammer, safety and anti-walk pins, still a great deal. I just ordered a LaRue Upper Kit that comes with their trigger, unsure if it's single or 2 stage, but I am really looking forward to this build and trying their trigger after reading this thread. Thanks!

Comparing only the two-stagers:

SSA-E > MBT2S > SSA

Wisconsin Trigger and old RRA NM are very close to SSA-E (or even better), but have different travel characteristics.
