Nice gun rikman, my "last gun of the year" was also a Ruger, a High Gloss Stainless New Vaquero in .357.
Already have some bonded ivory grips ordered to dress it up a little.

I Think we should make this a family Tradition... Buy a new Gun at the end of the year. Got a killer deal on the 608!
Love those SA .... And the 44 spcl. is a great caliber! You will have a lot of fun with that.
I also got a good deal on a Neglected Chiefs Special.. So I got two!
Lots of great looking year end purchases everyone loved the Vaquero and the Bushmaster .308
