tomorrow starts the flintlock only late deer season here in pa., i have taken my pedersoli blue ridge down to degrease the barrel and recheck things that i have packed for the hunt. i have killed two deer with this rifle since i gave up my TC flint(killed 13 deer with it). not like the TC did not kill deer,i just wanted a more history correct long rifle, i shoot the same load-80grs fff and a round patched ball with the pedersoli as i did in the TC. i realy like the longer barrel and larger lock(3/4 flints) and the frizzen is hardened just right, giving maximum sparks. i did change the sights out. eastbank.

Nice shooting I've got a Pedersoli in the .50 flintlock also, only problem with it is the frizzen spring broke while we (grandson and me) were out shooting the other day. At least it is a simple fix.
