flintlock season ended for me today

made a high double lung shot at 40yds on a nice doe this morning(10:20AM) she ran about 25yds and rolled over., it was very cold and windy. pedersoli blue ridge .50cal with 80grs fff with patched round ball. eastbank.

Great to get it done old school style! I had a fine fellow at the range let me shoot his flintlock and I really enjoyed it.
