The DVD version is longer and contains more material.
I attended Massad Ayoob's MAG-20, Armed Citizens' Rules of Engagement some years ago. That required travel.
My recommendation? Take both.
Expensive? Peanuts, in comparison to what one may spend before a trial that never happens, after the proverbial "good shoot"--or even if you just draw a firearm.
And it can help one stay out of a cage for quite a number of years.
