Both PJ holsters and Vedder Holsters have been great to deal with. They both responded to questions within 3 days and I received finished products within 8 days of purchase.
Each pocket holster has it's own favorable feature that I like, so given different situations I will use each.
The Vedder has more retention and a sweat shield on both sides. The gun clicks into place like a standard Kydex holster. It'll be great for yard work and gardening with its superior retention and sweat shield to protect against sweat. I've managed to sweat on a pocket gun plenty of times.
The PJ should conceal a bit better as it has a flat profile on the outer side. The retention is less than the Vedder but enough to hold the pistol snug even upside down. The slightly less retention should help ensure a clean draw and for everyday carry I prefer the level of retention it offers.
Both holsters stay put on the draw in the pockets I've tested them in, and both come with a thumb push off area to break the retention should you find that they don't stay put in a particularly cavernous pocket. I'm happy with both.
If I should experience any issues or have any further insights I will post them in this thread. The Alabama Holster is still 6 or 7 weeks out but I'll report on it as well.
The PJ is on the top and the Vedder is on the bottom in each photo.
