I am trying to get a log of the most popular calibers and popular weights in those calibers. We are currently selecting out calibers and weights that we will be selling. All casts will be made with Magma Equipment and Molds. Also would like your opinions on Lube color from Magma. Blue or Red
Prices will be 10-20 dollars cheaper than everyone else.
Estimate 9mm 125rn would be 42.00 per 1k Thanks In Advance for your input.

Lead Cast

I will look into that mold. We plan on starting with the most popular calibers. All lead will be Brillness level of 16-18 hardness.

Might want to look at something like a .38/.357 125 - 130 RN-FP for the Cowboy Action guys.

Also Keith-style SWC's in .357, .44, and .45 Colt.

For me, since velocities are kept lower on cast loads my main use of lead is cheap or heavy for caliber loads. I'd love a source of 180-200 grain .358 and 300-350 grain .454. Cast rifle loads are becoming more popular, so 180-200 grain .309 would probably sell well.

I'm not a fan of lead bullets for a 9mm.

In .45 ACP, my preferences would be for a 180 gr or 200 gr semi wad cutter for bullseye competition loads and plinking.

Lead Cast

Thanks for all the replys Keep em coming. I already planned for the 9mm 147fp. I will definetly look into the cowboy loads. As for pricing. Let me know if you can find cheaper. We are looking to be cheaper than every other online lead casting store. If you see something cheaper than this please advise. We will not skimp on quality either. Thanks

57.00 -59.00for 1k .45 230 rn
50.00 -52.00 for 1k .40 175swc

i checked the 158 gr swc altho mine are all home cast from a good old lyman mould that casts 150 gr swcs.... lots of times i use 158 gr load data to reload with..........

I also cast and sell --- my bestsellers are;

.32Long/Mag ---- 95gr. RN
38/357/9mm ----- 125gr RN
.40/10mm --- 180gr RN
45acp --- 230 RN and 175 SWC
45LC --- 200gr RN
The Cowboy shooters NEED a round nose for the tube fed lever rifles.

The IPSC guys buy up the .40 180RN buy the ton !!!!

EDIT --- lube color --- BLUE as that is what the Big Guys mostly sell -- had a very few buyers freak out over Red lube -- don't make no difference but the Customer Is Always Right !!!!!!!!!!
