Got my new Lee Deluxe turret in the mail. Got it set up and ready to go. Im using recapped brass at the moment but would like to know where the spent primers go when I used brass with spent primers. Any tips guys??

You've got to put in one of the little primer arms. Even if you're DEpriming, you need to put one of those one. Doesn't matter which size, small primer or large primer. It guides the spent primers out the hole in the side of the center rod so they fall down into the base of the press. I've got a notch cut out of the wood at that spot beneath the press so the spent primers fall into a coffee can. If you don't have a cutout there, the primers will just sit in there until you dump them out.

There should have been a clear tube with a cap on one end provided. The ram is actually hollow with a fitting on the bottom, no mods should be needed to your bench. I replaced the tube with one a little longer, then drilled about a 5/8" hole in the lid from a tall clear Gallon water bottle. Make sure you leave enough length on the tube so that is slides up and down, within the container lid, to allow ram full extesion (up and down) without pulling out of the bottle.

The primers go everywhere EXCEPT where they're supposed to go! The bench top, floor, down your shoe.

Yes, the classic turret is a very good upgrade on the deluxe turret. Positive spent primer handling. The deluxe, however makes a mess with the spent primers.
