Is this something worth buying, I shoot alot of shotgun shells dove and upland hunting season but not sure if its just cheep junk or something worth making a small investment in for a beginner shotgun shell reloader???

And would it work for buckshot, and slug loading Lee has a new mold for buckshot, and I think they have a slug mold also?

I've used one for years for 12ga. Never used anything else so I can't compare but I've never had any troubles. Easy to use. My then 10 year old son loved to load Daddy's and his shells. I always watched him but he had no problems using it. After 25 years or so it still works just as it did on day 1.

I have an old Lee Load-all in 20ga that I bought used, and I have used it and although it is slow compared to a Mec 600 JR, it will make great looking and shooting ammo with the correct components.
It boils down to what you want in a loader.

You would need to use a scoop to drop buckshot into the cases as I understand the Lee is not recommended for that use.

I have a Lee Load-All 20ga and it works fine, but sorta slow as another post noted...it is semi retired now.....also, note it is NOT a new idea, that basic design is OLD but LEE's materials and production methods are new.....check and old Sears or Mongomery Ward reprint catalog and you will see them in there from around 1900....maybe by Pacific or one of the old time reloading equipment outfits.

But, that said, I'd rather have a MEC 600 Jr, which I had before upgrading over time.

Purchased and like it for the light shotgun loading Ill do. started new post for the feeded and other questions..
