Question, I'm looking for a nice 17 hrm left handed rifle. I had my eye on the Savage 93R17JTV. This has a laminated Thumbhole composite stock with the accutrigger. Well they don't make the damn things in left handed of course:mad: . So does anyone make a good accurate rifle for us lefties that doesn't look like a glenfield?

JMusic;

I'm also a left shoulder shooter. However, I made a different choice than your's. I decided that since I have several good-to-excellent .22's available, the small end was covered nicely. Then, since I also reload, I compared the cost of .17HMR ammo to what .223 was gonna run me.

Bingo, you got it in one. I have a .223 LHB walking varminter & am building my Stag left AR platform.

My camp is happy, my fire is warm, and my brass gets recycled, :D

I don't disagree in the 223 I have one of those and also a swift. Where I live now 200 yds is the limit for vision. There are several sub divisions around and I would prefer the light fragile bullet of the 17 hmr. I have several rifles no limits in caliper. My every day shooter is now a pellet gun. Its an Air arms PCP. Shoots JB's at about 980fps. With the mildot scope It will pop a squirrel at 70 yds. Actually shoots thru. The 17 would be for crows maybe a turckey or bobcat. Besides I don't have one yet and I like nice looking rifles that are very accurate. I'll keep looking thanks for the advise fellows much appreciated.

i believe that savage, and cz, with the cz being very few , are the only ones you will find in L hand. the savage one is a plain wood stock.
