I know Idaho is a very pro gun state, but I have a rather obsure question about OC, If someone can point me in the right direction. I heard from someone I considered to be a reputable source that in ID you can OC if you are under the age of 21, but over the age of 18, as long as you are outside city limits. And you can OC under the age of 18 as long as you have parental supervision (outside city limits) I dont know if this is a bunch of bull, but I would like to know because that is my home state. thanks all!

If it is true, its one of the most obscurely specific laws I've heard of recently (and that doesn't mean it isn't true). I wouldn't take any law as true based off what anyone says, and nor should you - especially with regards to carry laws. Best to check the Idaho statutory code yourself. A quick google should bring it up for you. You'll probably look for the "Idaho statutory criminal code."

If its organized neatly, it should be evident which section of codes applies to firearms and other weapons violations.

so min age is 18, is that everywhere? even within city limits?
Again, cross reference the statutory code itself. If it says minimum age is 18 and there's no further info, its legal throughout the state, as state law trumps city codes and ordinances. If you take your information from anything other than the state law itself, you're doing yourself a dangerous disservice.

The state web site has a pretty good break down of our laws. Get it right from the source. There is still some obscure stuff regarding mining and logging camps that are carry overs from the 1800's but for the most part, Boise and Sun Valley exclude are OC friendly.
