Let's make some anti-gun folk weep this weekend!

I already bought too many this year. Time for a break, and maybe focus on getting ammo.

Ok on friday I bought a ruger security six
today on sat. I bought a primo 1903a3 smith corona
I still have sunday left so I will see what I can come up with!

No new guns this week but I did pick up another barrel for my Encore. .223 Rem 28" SS fluted pro-hunter variety. I dressed it up with Leupold QR base and rings, and a burris 3.5-10x42 AO. My wife is kinda pissed at me right now. Last week I spent $270 on a set of Spott Hog sights for my bow. I really really need to calm down for awhile.:(

No guns this weekend, but I am taking the Ithaca 37 I bought last weekend out to the range for the first time.

hmmm... teddy lost two brothers to nuts with guns... we may not have agreed with him but we cant say he didn't have cause for feeling a certain way about guns- no need to throw a celebration

True, but bolt-action rifles and .22 pistols are not the guns he tried so desperately to ban.

Picked up Kimber last week

put down money a a Bushmaster flat-top Friday.:D Went to gunshow yesterday. Nothing worth buying at that one.

As for Ted kennedy I, for one, surely won't miss him. Tough on guns, soft on crime. The man was a walking double standard. One of his last acts was to reverse a law requiring a special election to fill his soon to be vacated seat. A law which he helped change from a gubernatorial appointment to a special election, because the then Govenor, Mitt Romney, was a Republican. Now that the Governor is a Democrat he pushed to have it changed back. Hypocracy at its finest. He was also a big environmental supporter and proponent of alternative energy until someone wanted to put a wind farm off the coast of Marthas Vineyard. Couldn't have that messing up his view so he lead the charge to shut that down. The man was drunken blowhard for most of his life. The last part of it was spent quashing family scandals, when he wasn't trying to take away our second amendment rights or spending our money on social programs.

... The original post asked for some gun porn. This thread does not have to be about Kennedy. I love threads like this because I get to skim through and look at the pics. Pics here are not quite the same as seeing random pics on the Internet. Here, the owner is associated with the pic. It's more intriguing.

Let's see some more pics!

Okay, this ought to make certain folks uncomfortable per the OP.

In relocating some of my guns to my new safe the other day I happened to have all of my AK variants out (minus one, a custom ORF build that was hiding in a dark corner of one of the other safes ) and decided it was a good time for a photo-op...

:D

I've got my eye on this lovely little Bushmaster, but I'm not yet ready to make the purchase. Still have some ciphering to do before I decide on the exact model.

Regardless, the list of the OP - those are all great reasons to buy a gun. Heck, every day should be "buy a gun day", IMO. Sort of like how little kids want every day to be Christmas! :)

I wish. I do not have enough money to buy a gun for a long time...Being a poor cop and college dude at the same time isn't easy.

I ordered 4 more mosin nagants from AimSurplus.com today to round out the weekend. Gotta love that C&R license! I'll post pics when I get them in a week or so...

Hardshell, how do you like that Bullpup AK. I held one once, and was tempted...

To further celebrate I bought a couple Colt 1851's. They don't really scare antis but I have plenty of stuff that does.

I shoulda cruised the pawnshops for a nice little American Classic, suitable for going uptown on that Special Saturday Night . That would get a few anti's going.

So far, this is kinda the only one I have in that category

4 Mosins delivered today!

Two of them have stunningly beautiful stocks for MNs... One even has a tiger stripped stock, which I've never seen on an MN. The other two are nice wood stocks, and all have really nice metal.

Ordered over the weekend, delivered today for around $360. Oh how I love my C&R license!

PS - I saw my dealer has a crate of these and is selling them for about $130 each!

I just picked up an M4gery upper and put another A2 20" upper on layaway. They're not "firearms" technically, but they're going to have to do.

hmmm... teddy lost two brothers to nuts with guns... we may not have agreed with him but we cant say he didn't have cause for feeling a certain way about guns- no need to throw a celebration

Yes, he showed his hatred for guns in his legislation while expressing his love for his fellow man by leaving a pregnant woman to drown in his car.

My three day wait is over, I pick up and shoot my SCCY CPX-1 tomorrow.

Yeah, it's cheap...I'm broke....we're kinda alike in that manner :p

The construction is close enough to a Kel-Tec that I decided to give it a whirl.

edit: besides the safeties digging into the pit of my hand, it's a great pistol...50rds without a single FTF/FTE, accuracy is great for such a tiny pistol.

Bought a Colt Cobra on August 15. Can't buy another gun before Sept 15, due to the VA 1-gun-per-month restriction. Can't buy a gun on Sept 15 because that's the day I take possession of my birthday present from my son - a S&W Model 66 no-dash snubby. So no gun purchases before Oct 15 for me - but that's during the week I'm moving, so I won't have the money anyway lol.

I had a morinco sks come home with me this weekend. Thank goodness thatt my state does not have any laws on how many guns I can buy a mounth.
