My S&W 65LS beats your SP101 because it is a 6 shooter revolver, not 5. It is a 3" K-frame and thus one of the best handling handguns ever made.

Although I like you S&W 65LS because it's a smooth handling K-Frame, my Colt Python beats it hands down .... since it's "action" is smooth enought to make even a plastic surgeon blush!

Time to end this. I present to you the Mythical Shrike Beast of Gun Lore.

My brand new Ishapore Enfield beats.... well, probably nothing right now. Just got it and took it out of the box last night. Still has a lot of storage grease on it. Looks like the muzzle was dropped in sand just before it went in the box. Only one magazine. No accessories yet. But... Bore and chamber in good condition. Bolt and trigger action smooth if a bit heavy. It has a bayonet mount, and enough weight to have authority as a pointy stick or swung log. I bought a 300 rnd can of Austrailian surplus for it, may go back for 2 or three more tomorrow, when I go to buy some other supplies. And actually, it beats everything, 'cause it's mine, and my rifle in my house beats your rifle not in my house! :neener:

What's the gauge on yer Ithaca?

First gun I ever shot was an Ithaca side by side 20ga. I was 8...it beat me like a rented mule.

12.

My Olympic K16 trumps the shrike-beast of yore because it will not inspire the zombie hordes to attack me out of jealousy.

My Contender is better because I can get any caliber I want, I only need a screwdriver to change calibers, and it's accurate as anything else out there.. How can you argue with rifle cartridges in a pistol?

Slow to reload though.

My Carcano is better than your Contender because I personally removed the old 6.5 mm barrel and replaced it with a .357 barrel blank I contoured and threaded to the receiver and chambered myself with a D-Reamer I cut myself.

But if I had your Contender, I wouldn't have had to rebarrel in the first place

You gotta be kidding, right??

Not about the work, I am just talking about the Carcano action.:neener:

But.

My Remington Action, Lilja Barrel, and McMillan A2 stock with at Gemtech M402 chambered in .223 kicks your Carcano's but as I can kill Zombies with it and they will not know were the shots are coming from.

I'll bite, my 6" Colt Python is better than your Carcano because it has 357 power in a somewhat easier concealable package and has accompanied me on many night shifts as a security officer in the late 70's and early 80's. Your Carcano would be more accurate at longer ranges though.
BTW when my Python accompanied me at work it was in a Bianchi model 27 Breakfront duty holster.

My .32 Kel-Tec is better than all of your guns! In a survival situation, not only could I take small game with it, but I could also melt down the frame afterwards, and mold some plastic sporks to eat with.

It is nice that some of your guns can be used at distances greater than 5 feet, though.

sierrabravo45 et alia,

The darned thing in its original chambering wouldn't hit a barn from the inside (I wonder how the heck Oswald made those shots).

Alternatives: Convert to firewood and tent stake versus convert to another cartridge. Bolt face matched .357 head, so there I went. Good excercise in machining, etc, especially since the receiver threads are left-handed, and I cut the chamber reamer myself. (I had an engine lathe at the time.)

Still work to do on it: shorten bolt stroke and move ejector, solve magazine problem, etc, etc, etc. But it shoots fairly well as is, single-shot.

I like the 91/30 because I'm a fan of them anyways, but my M44 is better simply because it's the same round in a smaller package and doesn't hang up on nearly as many branches when hunting. And it comes with a cooler "stabbin' stick"

My Mauser is better than your m44 because I won't make myself crazy putting the safety on.

But ammo for your gun is sooooo cheap, and way more available.

I prefer my Delta Elite to your Greener Blue Rock because I actually know what a Delta Elite is, and 10 mm is a sweet, sweet round.

You should take pride in knowing that your GBR is a mysterious enigma, wrapped in a riddle, smothered in secret sauce. (at least to me)

My M1 Garand is better than your 105 becwuse I can pick off your entire crew from 500yds. And be too close for you to respond!

Well - that would be true - if it were an artillery cannon but mine was mounted in an M-60 tank. We'd just point it in your general direction and spit out a HEP round or two and voila - no more Garand. ;)

Hmmmm... I wonder? Would that be cheating?

Still - one cannot help but admire anyone with the heart and courage to point a Garand at a tank from any range. :D

My Dan Wesson Razorback is better than your Delta Elite, at least if you define better as probably of comparable quality and much easier to obtain NIB. Better the Razorback I have than the Delta Elite I wish I could afford! :D But I like your Delta Elite because it was more or less the 10mm 1911 that paved the way for the rest. I bet it's a sweet shooter too...

My XD45 bi-tone is better than your Dan Wesson because I can carry many more rounds in the mag, and it's lighter weight.

But I like your Dan Wesson because it's a CZ, and CZ's are Czech, and so am I.
Also 1911's are a good bit slimmer than XD45s.

I like my Kahr K40 more than your Razorback because I know what it is;) and what it feels/shoots like. Then again, maybe I'd like your Razorback when I get to see one:rolleyes:

My Kahr pm9 is better than your k40 because it is smaller, lighter and even though its shorter, it holds just as many rounds as your forty because its 9mm :). However, i like your k40 because its stainless, and the all metal Kahrs run like buttah :) (i also own an E9)

like the kahr (metal pistols=better than "plastic"), but my "bubba'd" Yugo SKS is better.

1)holds more rounds
2)has a bayonet
3)more powerful
4)has a folding stock
5)can be used as an addition to my golf bag (golf ball launcher attachment)

while your S&w Mod19 is a nice pistol
my Accuracy international L96 is so much better
I can shoot people from a mile away
its concealable you try finding me in my ghilli suit :D
HMG paid for it and all the ammo:D
it has few moving parts and is easy to clean
I can shoot all the vison blocks out of the m60 and laugh as they drive it off a cliff
I can feed myself on survival exercises with it one round one boar only 6 hours to cook it
its so accurate makes me look good

While I like your L96, my Smith Corona 03-A3 has a much longer history and the 30-06 caliber has a greater versatility than your 7.62x51 NATO. The 03-A3 was used as a sniper rifle from WW2 to Vietnam. I own this rifle it was my wife's grandfather's.

Edit: I forgot to add that it has a bayonet as well. I can shoot a boar then dress the animal.:) And is American made!

While, I like your 03-A3 for its history and what it means to many people. My S&W M&P is much more concealable and looks much more modern and "technical" than any O3-A3 out their.
