I notice many of you store ammo in you safes. I used to do just that but read in threads here how in case of a fire the rounds could cook off and blow the fire seals out of the safe.

Is this true or not?

And some of you have too many guns,

why does anyone need that many?

Gixxerman, I realize the thread is two years old. so if you're still around whats you collection look like now? lol I counted at least 51 hand guns.

I am 20 and just bought my first firearm a little over a month ago. I live in a 3rd floor apt so a large safe is kinda out of the question.
In the long term I see myself making one of the rooms in a house a safe. Seeing as how I bought my first a month ago and already have four long guns I'll probably need the space in 20 years.
