Oh now you've done it. :scrutiny: I love single action revolvers now I'm getting the itch to get another.:uhoh:

Madcratebuilder, what's that last revolver you posted? The one with all the ... widgets... hanging off of it.
That is a LeMat revolver, Cavalry model. Favored by Confederate officers during the war of Northern aggression. It is a 9 round 44 cal cap and ball with a 18ga (approx)under barrel. I'm working up shot and round ball loads for the 18ga, rough job but I'll preserver. Made by Pietta, I rate it a B+ in fit and finish, it does have it's quirks.

The open top, closed top debate. I like them both. Many considered this the most powerfull revolver till the 357 came along. The Colt Walker can load 55gr of holy black and a 44 cal conical bullet.

One of my nicest Remingtons is this NMA in nickle, made in 79 and marketed by Navy Arms. I believe it was made by Sile Co. but not sure about that. It is a very accurate revolver.

This revolver is this Rogers&Spencer 1865 model. Another revolver used by Confederate soldiers. This 1979 one was made by Armi San Paolo. Nice shooter, but I find the hammer spur sets high and is hard to cock single handed. Unusual taper at the bottom of the grip.

My favorite, best feeling, I'm a gunslinger, revolver is this 51 Colt Navy. A 36 cal, it has such a natural aim to it I don't get with any others. I have read that this was bill hickcocks favorite pistol. This one was made in 64 by Uberti and is an A+ revolver in fit and finish.

don't have the personal knowledge to display my own photos, so I thumbnailed a few of the ones that I own from the manufacturer's website...

http://www.uberti.com/firearms/single_action_cattleman.php

first one is an Uberti Cattleman Hombre w/ brass trigger guard & handle frame; .45 Long Colt; bought NIB for $388  (read below & you'll understand the EEK emoticon)

the second one is an Uberti Cattleman Chisholm w/ anondized aluminum trigger guard & handle frame; .45 Long Colt; bought used for $250; if I was a bit quicker, I could have had a used Hombre from the same shop for $250...one of my 'friends' called & asked if the used Hombre he saw was mine & if I had sold it; I went & snagged the Chisholm before it disappeared ;)

fodder shot thru them includes a variety of major manufacturers' cowboy loads, Remington 225 gr LSWC for a woods walking load, and Blazer (aluminum cased) 200 gr jhp (Speer Gold Dots) for HD and camp defense

Stormspotter, that's a neat rig.
Isn't that a pretty heavy gun to stuff in your waistband? I'd love to carry mine, but it seems kinda bulky.

Wow, many thanks everybody; a lot of excellent pistols (and collections) you all have posted.:D

Problem now is that I'm sharing Willy G.'s sentiment:

I picked up another this weekend (and a stainless new [small] Vaquero has caught my eye as well:eek:).
Here's the new, well a couple of boxes old;), USFA Rodeo in .45 LC:

BTW - The Bushmaster, I'd really like to see the old Colt.

Those are mine: a Pietta .45 LC 1873 custom model and a Ruger .44 Magnum Old Model Vaquero. The next could be a BFR... :D
